Monday is... work from home class (DO NOT COME TO SCHOOL)

Hello!

This is a list of things I expect you do on Monday at home:
1. Work on the layout of of brochure on tracing paper.
2. Work on headers and images. You can create your headers in Illustrator and bring them as an image to InDesign.
3. Make sure you don't have any widows or orphans in your body copy.
4. If applicable, work on the image in the background knowing it can't compete with your copy.
5. Try to have fun with the body copy. Experiment with it. Think outside the box. Leave your comfort zone. Be bold. This will influence your grade.
6. Experiment with the different type styles. Italics and bolds can do wonders!
7. Use different sizes for headers, sub-headers and copy.
8. Make sure your type is readable - print, print, print!

You'll have to bring a color printout of your mock-up on Wednesday because we're having an in-progress critique.
